Walt's Advantage may guarantee the lubricated parts of the vehicle's engine for up to 10 years or 200,000 miles, whichever occurs first. To maintain this warranty, simply return to Walt Sweeney Ford for the recommended maintenance service that includes Krex Graphite Engine Lubricant at least every 6 months or 5,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE REQUIRED OIL AND FILTER CHANGE SERVICE SCHEDULE FOR YOUR NEW VEHICLE AS OUTLINED BELOW, INCLUDED KREX® GRAPHITE ENGINE LUBRICANT (KREX GRAPHITE) AT EACH SERVICE INTERVAL AS OUTLINED BELOW, AND MAINTAINED THE REQUIRED PROOF OF SERVICE RECORDS, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY APPLIES.

KREX® 10 YEAR / 200,000 MILE ENGINE LUBRICATION LIMITED WARRANTY

Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, Krex, Inc. (Krex) will reimburse you, up to the limits of liability, the reasonable cost needed to repair or replace the covered engine parts, if such parts fail or experience excessive wear due to lubrication failure. This Engine Lubrication Limited Warranty shall become effective 1,000 miles after the initial installation of Krex Graphite Engine Lubricant and shall terminate 10 years from the manufacturer's original In-Service Date or when 200,000 miles are registered on the odometer, whichever occurs first.

WHO IS COVERED

This Engine Lubrication Limited Warranty is provided free of charge to the owner/lessee of the eligible vehicle and any subsequent owner/lessee of the vehicle who continues to follow the service schedule as outlined in this warranty and possesses all the required proof of service records. An eligible vehicle is defined as a vehicle that has a) less than 50,000 miles registered on the odometer at the time of the initial installation of Krex Graphite Engine Lubricant and b) been In-Service less than 42 months from the manufacturer's original In-Service Date.

LIMITATIONS OF IMPLIED WARRANTY

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH MAY ARISE UNDER STATE LAW, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY AND DO NOT COVER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This form describes the protection you will have under your Engine Lubrication Limited Warranty (hereinafter referred to as "Warranty"). This Warranty will be honored by Krex through the Dealership that issued this warranty provided you have followed the service schedule as outlined in this Warranty. A substitute Dealership will be appointed by Krex should you be unable to return to the issuing Dealership for continued service.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS

For a period of 10 years or until 200,000 miles are registered on the odometer of your new vehicle, whichever occurs first, this Warranty will cover the failure or excessive wear of the following engine parts of your new vehicle: Crankshaft and Bearings, Oil Pump, Internal Timing Gears and Chain, Camshaft and Bearings, Valve Lifters, Rocker Arms and Pivots, Push Rods, Valve Guides, Pistons and Rings, Wrist Pins and Bushings, Cylinders, Connecting Rods, Distributor Drive Gear, Turbo Bearings, Cylinder Lining and Bore, Balance Shafts, and Valve Stems. During the term of this Warranty, if a covered engine part fails or wears excessively due to a lubrication failure, return the vehicle to the issuing dealership, present this Warranty and your repair orders showing the vehicle's service history, and the covered parts will be repaired or replaced without charge up to the Limit of Liability.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY

For a vehicle that had been driven 5,000 miles or less at the time of the initial installation of Krex Graphite, the total liability for all covered parts and labor repair/replacement benefits shall not exceed $5,000.00 during the term of this warranty. For a vehicle that had been driven more than 5,000 miles and less than 24,000 miles at the time of the initial installation of Krex Graphite, the total liability for all covered parts and labor repair/replacement benefits shall not exceed $3,750.00 during the term of this warranty. For a vehicle that had been driven 24,000 miles or more, but less than 50,000 miles at the time of the initial installation of Krex Graphite, the total liability for all covered parts and labor repair/replacement benefits shall not exceed $2,000.00 during the term of this warranty. Replacement parts will be of like kind and quality and may include new, remanufactured or used parts at our discretion. Labor time allowances will be based on factory flat rate guides for your year, make and model vehicle.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

This Warranty does not cover damages if you fail to adhere to the oil and filter change interval schedule requiring the most frequent such servicing, regardless of driving conditions, as recommended in the Owner's Manual for your vehicle, including the installation of Krex Graphite to your crankcase at each servicing. Under no circumstances can any service interval be greater than six months or 5,000 miles, whichever occurs earlier. Timing belt and air filter must be replaced and emission control system maintained according to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. Service must be performed by the dealership that issued this warranty, or a substitute dealership appointed by Krex should you be unable to return to the issuing Dealership for continued service.

This Warranty shall be NULL AND VOID:

1. If the covered vehicle is converted from a passenger vehicle to a commercial vehicle.
2. If the covered vehicle is a truck rated more than one (1) ton.

In addition, Krex will not pay benefits:

1. If repairs are performed without prior authorization from the Administrator.
2. If a breakdown is caused by or involving collision, fire, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion,
3. lightning, earthquake, windstorm, hail, water, freezing, or flood, or other acts of God.
4. If a breakdown is the result of a manufacturing defect or improper completion of a prior repair.
5. If a breakdown is caused by abuse, misuse or modifications.
6. If a breakdown resulted from the use of improper types or levels of lubricants, coolants, or chemical additives.
7. For any consequential or incidental damage or loss should your vehicle be involved in a collision caused by or involving the failure of a covered engine part.
8. If your vehicle's odometer has been stopped, altered or misrepresents your vehicle's actual mileage.
9. If a breakdown is caused by using your vehicle for racing or other competition.

Coverage under this Warranty will be considered secondary to any manufacturer's warranty, repairer's guaranty or similar coverage afforded under extended mechanical repair plans. However, if covered engine parts fail or wear excessively due to a lubrication failure that is covered by any of the aforementioned warranties and would be covered by this Warranty, this Warranty will pay any deductible amount or non-covered portion of the repair not to exceed $250.

WHO TO CALL IF YOU HAVE A BREAKDOWN

All covered breakdowns must be reported promptly to Krex, Inc. prior to having any repairs performed by calling: 1-800-323-5739.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IF YOU HAVE A BREAKDOWN

• Use all reasonable means to protect your vehicle from further damage.
• Notify the issuing dealership within 72 hours of breakdown.
• Authorize the repair facility to perform necessary diagnostic work and provide "teardown authorization" so that the repair facility can provide an accurate diagnosis and estimate of repairs.
  IMPORTANT: ENGINE LUBRICATION LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE DOES NOT PAY DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES FOR REPAIRS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARANTY.
• Furnish the issuing dealership, or the designated Claim Administrator, with all of the following documents:

IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE REQUIRED OIL AND FILTER CHANGE SERVICE SCHEDULE FOR YOUR NEW VEHICLE AS OUTLINED BELOW, INCLUDED KREX® GRAPHITE ENGINE LUBRICANT (KREX GRAPHITE) AT EACH SERVICE INTERVAL AS OUTLINED BELOW, AND MAINTAINED THE REQUIRED PROOF OF SERVICE RECORDS, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY APPLIES.

1. A copy of this Warranty.
2. Copies of all service and repair orders that will verify compliance with the terms of this Warranty.
3. A copy of the current vehicle registration card.
4. A complete statement of damage and repair costs.
5. A copy of the extended service contract if you are making a claim for payment of a service contract deductible.

If requested, a sample of the motor oil from the crankcase at the time the failure occurred.
